You’ve found a home you love and we’ve shown you around - here’s what to expect next...
Once you’ve confirmed your interest, your dedicated Letting Agent will send over an application form via Goodlord*. Complete and submit this to get the application process started.
When we receive applications, we must pass them to the Landlord in order for the Landlord to determine which tenants they feel is the best fit for their property.
In order to secure the property, and take it off the market, one week’s worth of rent must be paid as a holding deposit*. This is non-refundable but is deducted from your balance on move-in.
Referencing information must be provided through Goodlord. It is important to note that Goodlord will not accept private email addresses (gmail, hotmail etc) for a work reference. References need to be returned within seven days, so it is a good time to contact your landlord and employer to inform them that Goodlord will be in touch. If references are not returned within this timeframe, the landlord of the property may choose to remarket the property and you could lose your holding deposit.
As soon as you have passed your referencing, you will be sent your tenancy agreement to sign electronically. It is important to read and understand this legal document before signing.
Your final payment prior to move-in will be made through Goodlord. Funds will need to clear three days before you are due to move in. Please be aware that this will be your last payment through Goodlord - all future rent payments will be made to the account detailed on your tenancy agreement.
It’s time to put the kettle on and settle in! You’ll have a move-in date, a check-in inventory and all the details you need in order to enjoy life in your new home!
